Ana is very sweet and innocent. She is a registered Nurse at the Cerulean Clinic, and loves helping people. She doesn't trust many people and has never been in love before. She is lonely and bitter about losing her sister many years ago. Ana is very loving and wishes that she had more friends. Ana can read people’s minds, all she has to do is concentrate a little and she can get into a person’s mind. She can only hear things if their thinking them, but can not get into their memories. This is part of the reason why she hasn’t found love, she doesn’t like to hear people’s thoughts, but it’s something that she can’t help. Susannah, Ana’s sister was a witch and very skilled in the art. She taught Ana everything that she knew, and Ana has continued to learn more and more as the years go on.

Analeigh Marie Martin was born on April 17th 1644 to George and Martha Martin. She had and older sister, her name was Susannah. They lived in a mansion on the outskirts of Massacre Harbor, Massachusetts. Ana’s family was rich and had everything they ever wanted. Ana and her sister were the best of friends and were inseparable. They were home-schooled certain subjects and were very well behaved young girls. Ana had always thought something was wrong with her as she was growing up, she could hear what people were thinking. She thought that she was just imagining it but as she grew it got easier to do. All she had to do was concentrate and she could hear exactly what everyone was thinking. She couldn’t see memories only what they were thinking at that time. She told her sister Susannah, and Susannah thought about teaching Ana about witch craft.
Susannah got into witch craft from one of the maids that worked at their house. Her name was Emmalynn and she was very nice to the young girls. She had learned so much from the maid that she taught Ana everything she knew. Ana was in love with the art of witch craft, she was very good at spells and knew that there were more people like her and Susannah out there. They would cast spells and make potions late at night when their parents were sleeping. One day their maid was taken by the people of Salem and accused of being a witch. Her fellow maid who’s name was Ann had told many police men that Emmalynn was a witch and they took her and hanged her. The other maid was jealous that Emmalynn was making more money than her, and that she had a relationship with the girls in the house. Ann didn’t actually think that the accusations were true about Emmalynn but when they searched her house they found many books and potions, proving that she was a witch. They searched the house of the Martin’s being that they were her employer and found everything in Susannah’s room. Analeigh was horrified when they took her sister and parents.
Ana had been hiding in the basement when they came to take her family. They allowed her family to testify that they weren’t witches but they didn’t care. Their daughter and maid were witches and associating with witches was a death sentence. The people of Salem hanged her entire family leaving her 20 year old sister for last after watching her mother and father being hanged she begged for death. She knew that if she didn’t they would find her sister and that would be the worst possible thing Susannah could think of.
The men that took her family didn’t think to look in the basement for anyone else. Ana hid there for many days almost dieing of starvation. At the time she was 18 and knew that her family was dead and didn’t know what to do. She left her home in search for food and ran into a man who was gorgeous with brown hair and gorgeous eyes. She was mesmerized by the man and agreed when he asked her to come with him into the woods. He bite her and transformed her into a vampire, Ana didn’t know what to do so she found her way back to her family home. There were men there stealing her family’s belongings and a new born vampire can hardly resist blood. She attacked the men and killed them; she was floored by what was happening. She didn’t know what she was or what had happened to her, but she knew she couldn’t be around people.
Ana hid in her home until the witch trials were over. She went outside in the day at one point and was burned very badly. She still could not figure out what was wrong with her until she ventured out one night. She found many other people who were like her and they told her that they were vampires. She was shocked, she hadn’t even heard of vampires before this point. She figured out that it was the vampires that were causing all the trouble in Salem and Massacre Harbor and resented them. Along the years she focused herself on her studies. She studied Philosophy, and medicine, and excelled at everything she did. She had super-human strength and amazing senses. Her mind reading ability grew very much during the years and it came to the point that Ana didn’t even have to concentrate when reading someone’s mind. The vampires banded together and Ana had no other choice but to go with them. She even invited some to stay in her house because it was very big and she was alone in it.
She began to love being a vampire. Her senses were amazing and she retained everything that she read. She became a nurse and was able to help any vampires that needed it. Not that they needed much but she was there when they needed it. She became to love fact that she had super-human strength and the fact that she was forever 18. The people of Salem never gave up on the fact that there were witches out there but the town of Massacre Harbor was on the outskirts enough that they didn’t bother the vampires. Ana wanted nothing more then to be a part of Salem and be a part of her old life but she knew that would never happen.
Ana let herself get very close with another female vampire her name was Lyndia and she was just like Ana sister Susannah. She was also a fellow witch and she and Ana quickly formed an amazing friendship. Ana thought that having Lyndia around her would make up for losing her sister. They did everything together, making potions and spells. Lyndia had a special power like Ana, she was able to dematerialize, which meant that she could concentrate really hard on a certain place and could vanish to that place in a flash. Ana was jealous of the power that Lyndia wielded but never let it come between their friendship. Ana knew that she needed Lyndia to talk to and keep her company. Lyndia was the rebel of the group that lived in the Martin house, and always got herself into trouble. Ana tried to talk her out of going into Salem that faithful night on February 22, 1901 but she knew she could never stop Lyndia. Lyndia went into the town that night with a potion that she wanted to try to lure a man into her bed. She was found with the potion by a man that was patrolling Salem. He had a torch with him and lit Lyndia on fire.
Knowing that the only way to kill a vampire is by burning them alive, Lyndia knew she was in trouble. She tried to dematerialize out of Salem but she was on fire and it wouldn’t work. Ana was devastated when Lyndia didn’t come home; she traveled into Salem making sure that she always stayed in the shadows. She read everyone’s mind that she came across and found the man that burned Lyndia and killed him immediately.
Ana was horrified at what she had done and vowed to never get close to anyone ever again. She focused herself on her studies once more and dived into nursing to keep her mind off her friend and family. Ana has never been in love but hopes that one day she will find an amazing man that will love her and she hopes that she will be able to trust and fall in love with him. Ana now works in the Cerulean Clinic as a nurse and keeps to herself. The vampires have moved out of her house and she lives there alone. She is a very sweet and innocent young girl but if you hurt someone she loves she turns dangerous. With all the new species coming to Massacre Harbor and the humans getting more and more suspicious as the days go on Ana is terrified that her kind will be found and persecuted.

I walked into the clinic knowing that tonight was going to be a bad night. One of the dancers from the Black Orchid Strip Club had been stabbed very badly, they couldn’t find the person that had done it but hopefully the vampire would heal fast. Most vampires did but I was scared that this vampire would want vengeance. Which wouldn’t be a good thing for us, we were trying to keep the peace with the humans. Seeing as we were allowing humans into our places of business, and playing nice with them. We just wanted to be able to live our lives peacefully and co-exist with the humans, yes we had to feed off of them but it was a rarity that a vampire killed a human these days. Just then a gorgeous man walked through the doors of the clinic.
He was pure lust; he had to have been at least 6’4 and had amazing bright green eyes that were mesmerizing. Ana immediately heard his thoughts, “Wow who’s the cute blonde? When I was in here last night she wasn’t here. Wow look at the legs on here” He was thinking about her, which was a normal thing. Ana was tall, long legs, pale and had gorgeous blonde curly hair. Ana knew that she was beautiful and hated it, she hated that she could never find a man that wasn’t looking at her just because she was hot. She wanted a man that looked at her and thought about how beautiful she was and how her personality was amazing.
“Hi can I help you, sir?” I knew he was here to see the dancer but figured I’d be nice and ask. He didn’t respond at first he just looked at me. I knew he was thinking about staring into my eyes for hours and I began to blush at his thought. No one really noticed my eyes, they were always too busy staring at my legs they were great they I couldn’t complain. “I’m here to see Maria from the club, which room is she in?” I wondered if it was his girlfriend because even as he was asking for her he was still thinking about wow. He was thinking about my legs wrapped around him body and kissing me.
The blush on my cheeks was probably rosy red by now and I knew he was wondering why I was blushing. “Umm Maria is in triage right now, the doctor is just helping checking her out and then she’ll be able to leave. I’ll tell her that her boyfriend is here to pick her up.” I knew what I was doing, he wasn’t thinking about her and I wanted to see if they were together. Maybe this would be the right man for me, although I didn’t know if I was able to trust and love someone ever again, but this man was gorgeous and even though his thoughts were rather inappropriate something about him was drawing me to him.
